You can visit any BCV branch to open a TradeDirect account. The account will be opened on the spot, and you’ll be immediately given the account details for your securities and linked accounts.
If you’re unable to go to a branch, just fill out and sign the account-opening form online and send it to us.*
Since you’re already a BCV client, you don’t need to send a certified copy of your ID or proof of address.
*If your signature has changed since the last time you opened a BCV account, you will need to visit one of our branches to update the signature we have on file for you. That way, we’ll be able to accept any documents you sign from that point on. If your signature does not match the one we have on file for you, we will reject any documents you sign.
